Awarding Winning Designs

BBM have focused on sustainable development since the late 1980’s, during which time we have won six international design competitions in this area of design. Successes include the RIBA’s ‘House of the Future’, The Greenwich Millennium Village with Ralph Erskine, and the New Sustainable School for Canterbury. On each occasion BBM have been able to work with the best consultants in Europe such as Buro Happold, Fulcrum Engineering and Atelier Ten, to develop a greater understanding of the potentials and realities of delivering contemporary sustainable design. We believe that we have an unrivalled record within the world of sustainable architecture: our team can guarantee that the proposals will deliver a potent mix of innovation, economical design, aesthetics and practicable sustainable design. BBM have recently won a couple of RIBA Awards for their low energy house design, including The Daily Telegraph’s Best Eco Home 2005, and one new house being short-list for the Manser Medal which is part of the Stirling Prize Awards screened on Channel 4.
